Turning an obsession for interior design and a love for a challenge into a business led partners and co-founders Connie Ge Yin and Wayne Gao to establish FURNISHD. - a digital design and shopping platform that empowers time-poor homeowners to furnish their homes with a designer's vision, access and assistance, all at an attainable cost.
Wayne has an engineering background and is a HUGE Formula 1 and Harry Potter fan! He studied his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Melbourne after moving to Australia from China, over eight years ago.
Connie and Wayne went through the MAP Velocity Program in 2021.
Connie is a qualified CPA and loves finance! She enjoys facing a challenge but didn’t realise she would enjoy running a business so much until she co-founded FURNISHD.
She loves keeping up with the latest interior design trends and outside of the business, her dogs Winnie and Coffee have stolen her heart.
