Daizy is passionate about young people shaping the future, social entrepreneurship and amplifying the voices of unrepresented women of colour. Professionally she served on the board of directors for Australia’s largest publicly listed Community Bank company (NSX: CSH) which contributed 60% profits back into the community and at 22 was appointed to lead entrepreneurship programs at Deakin University via SPARK Deakin for 6 years which engaged over 10,000 students.
She founded the Australian Digital Job Accelerator which empowers women with financial independence through freelance work and is the co-founder of the Australian South Asian Centre, a community of creative founders and leaders dedicated to making a difference. ASAC’s project “Soul House”, a unique wellness space, was featured on SBS World News in 2021.
She has been a delegate for the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance in Argentina and is an alum of the Australia India Youth Dialogue. Most recently she was awarded Melbourne Asia Game Changer Awards by Asia Society in 2022 for her work on empowering South Asian women.
