The business began in a share house in lockdown, where founders Lance Qian, Jing Chen and Myron Liu realised working across multiple locations gave work a great variety where professionals can enjoy the culture and energy of different workplaces, inspiring the creation of WorkRex.
Lance is a Kiwi based inMelbourne where he holds a master’s in civil engineering from the University ofMelbourne. He moved into management consulting at McKinsey, working with consumer and technology companies. He then went on to help scale Redbubble, an online retail art marketplace. Outside of work, he can't say no to a meal at the pub with a few good friends and good chats.
A creature of habit, Lance is no stranger to having a favourite Uber Eats order. During lockdown, a local Thai restaurant saw the same name appear on their ordering system many nights in a row.. a shame there wasn't a loyalty program!
