Introducing our 2025 Velocity pre-accelerator cohort
Velocity (noun): the speed of something in a given direction.
A fitting name for where these founders are at – early in the journey, but moving with intent.
This year, 41 early-stage founders have been selected to join our Velocity pre-accelerator – our biggest cohort yet. They’re not just exploring ideas; they’re testing, building and backing themselves.

Velocity is a space to explore, pivot, trial and gain momentum. A safe but serious environment for founders to figure things out before the pitch decks, pressure or polish.
And the problems they’re tackling? Big ones. From financial empowerment and life-changing medical devices to mental health support, self-reflection tools and generational storytelling – this year’s cohort is diving into some of society’s most complex and urgent challenges, with fresh thinking from all corners.
Velocity is MAP’s pre-accelerator program, designed for the earliest stage of the founder journey. It’s all about growing mindset, clarity and community – the stuff that matters before anything scales.
